For Veterans Day, 30 youth members of Crosspoint Community Church in Rockwall wrote “thank you” letters to the veterans participating in Equest Hooves for Heroes. The veterans’ program provides equine-assisted activities and therapies to veterans and their family members at no cost with the goal to ease the participant’s transition to civilian life and help them realize their potential as civic assets and community leaders.
