Mark your calendars for North Texas Giving Day. It is Thursday, September 14, 2017.

Friends of the Rowlett Public Library is participating in Communities Foundation of Texas’ ninth annual North Texas Giving Day, a one-day event to help build the capacity of local nonprofits.

The library is planning a move back to its downtown location late this year in the new Village of Rowlett development, and Friends of the Rowlett Public Library wants to ensure the library has the capability to continue to provide excellent community service. The money raised on North Texas Giving Day will go toward equipping the Rowlett Public Library with tools that can be used year-round to keep up-to-date with current digital advances and items to engage young people in collaboration as they pursue academic development. We would appreciate your support.

It’s easy. All you need to do is go online and:

1. Get up and give on September 14th! Make your dollar stretch further! If you donate to our organization on NorthTexasGivingDay.org between 6am and midnight your donation will make us eligible for bonus funds and prizes!

2. Spread the word to your friends and loved ones about our organization and North Texas Giving Day! Encourage them to get up and give as well!
